Internationally acclaimed Mozambican saxophonist, composer, and cultural ambassador Moreira Chonguiça will bring his electrifying sound to the Windhoek Jazz Festival 2025 on Saturday, 1 November, at the iconic Hage Geingob Stadium in Windhoek, Namibia. Renowned for his distinctive fusion of contemporary jazz, Afro-soul, and traditional Mozambican rhythms, Moreira is celebrated as one of Africa’s most innovative and dynamic musical voices. His performances — a powerful blend of technical mastery, emotional depth, and cultural storytelling — have captivated audiences worldwide, from UNESCO’s International Jazz Day in Tangier to major festival stages across Europe, Africa, and the Americas.
